17% Growth in Car Sales from 2009 to 2010

As economy slowly stabilizes, so do auto sales. Nationwide vehicle sales grew by 17% when compared to 2009.

Big car manufacturers such as Nissan, Honda and Ford doubled their digits in last year’s sales. Most of these sales correspond to fuel efficient, smaller cars, due to gas prices risen.

A much better looking economy provided clients with the confidence to visit showrooms again and leave with a new car. Besides the car sales, new jobs also increased, and only in March, 216,000 new jobs were given by different companies.

Car manufacturers also started a very aggressive and smart campaign on car rebates and incentives, customer were specially interested in truck rebates , one of America’s favorites. Hence, truck sales were not that affected when it comes to large cars and how much gas they spend.
